Another important aspect of homeopathy is the ‘law of infinitesimals’ which states that the more the homeopathic solution is diluted the more potent it is. This explains why the solutions that are used in homeopathic treatments are much diluted.
When practitioners began using homeopathy, they directly prescribed the treatment to the patients but today the homeopathic solutions are commercially produced and are sold as supplements directly to the consumers, of course with directions for use.
