Vampire facelift treatment procedure of beauty

Vampire facelift treatment procedure

Vampire facelift treatment procedure of beauty today. It has very minimal or no side effects making it the most desirable option for many

Vampire facelift treatment procedure of beauty: Aging reduced

PRP facial rejuvenation, popularly referred to as the Vampire facelift treatment procedure of beauty uses the body’s natural healing system to enhance skin tone, texture and color with minimal downtime, and without the use of man-made synthetics or invasive surgery. The success of this treatment approach relies on the fact that the procedure uses our own human blood, which contains Platelet Derived Growth Factors (PDGF). This is a compounds that stimulate the production of collagen and keratin to help the body build new, firm, healthy skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles says doctor Dalal Akoury.

By harnessing the powerful impact of these growth factors found in the blood platelets, it is possible to activate stem cells in our skin and to instruct the body to use those cells to grow new, young skin in areas affected by the visible signs of aging.

PRP is prepared by taking a small vial of blood normally from a patient’s arms and then placing the blood in a centrifuge to separate the platelets. In less than 15 minutes, physicians can boost platelet and growth factor concentration by up to 600% and then re-inject the compounds into facial skin to speed up natural healing and collagen production. The result is an all-natural alternative to fillers like Botox or invasive procedures like a surgical facelift, ideal for combating fine wrinkles around the eyes, nose, lips, forehead and neck, as well as dark under eye circles, acne scars and sagging skin.

Vampire facelift treatment procedure of beauty: Complete Rejuvenation in 3 Steps

The Vampire FaceLift ® may sound supernatural, but its benefits are based firmly in nature. By drawing nourishing platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) from the patient’s blood and reapplying it to the face, the procedure restores vitality to skin.

Vampire facelift treatment procedure of beauty: Harvesting and harnessing your blood’s healing power

Next, the physician draws a small amount of blood from the patient – about 2 teaspoons – and places the blood in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The practitioner adds special filler to this gel-like substance, which “activates” 8 or more growth factors designed to heal damaged tissue by stimulating collagen growth and blood flow.

Vampire facelift treatment procedure of beauty: Infusing the face with rejuvenating injections

After applying numbing cream, the physician uses a special technique and a tiny needle to inject these growth factors back into the patient’s skin. By tricking stem cells into believing an injury has occurred, this process causes them to produce collagen, blood cells, and fatty tissue. As a result, skin appears younger and more beautiful. This procedure will continue to improve your skin condition over the 2 to 3 months following, as well as provide lasting effects for 1-2 years.

Finally our objective at AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center under Doctor Akoury’s care is to naturally revamp your beauty professionally. It is our business and we hold it so dear in our heart to help you have that desired youthful look in the most natural way and with absolute natural products. We will be looking forward to sharing the latest in all-natural facial rejuvenation and body contouring services with you and the global societies as well. Call us today for that life changing appointment.

Exploring Spinal Cord Injuries

The Evolving Science Of Spinal Cord Injuries

Spinal cord InjuryThe most important structure that plays the role of a link between the body and the brain is the spinal cord. It extends from the medulla oblongata of the brain through to the level of the first lumbar vertebrae. It is a cylindrical structure of nervous tissue that is composed of white and grey matter. On each of its sides, two consecutive rows of nerve roots emerge. These roots distally join forming the 31 pairs of spinal nerves. It is housed within the vertebral column. The spinal cord makes up approximately only 2% of the central nervous system but has very vital functions.

A spinal cord injury refers to any damage to any part of the spinal cord or damage of nerves at the spinal canal’s end. Below the site of the injury, there often occur permanent changes in sensation, strength and other body functions.

The subject of spinal cord injuries is not a new one. Many people are familiar with it and understand its financial implications. Many families have had to put up with hefty hospital bills after a spinal cord injury of a member. Special equipment like wheelchairs have had to be purchased to assist victims of spinal cord injury. Some victims even lose their jobs after a spinal cord injury due to inability to perform their tasks at the work place. This is a very serious financial blow to them considering the fact that they require large amounts of money to lead a normal life.

There is a complete relationship between the physical, financial, emotional and social implications of spinal cord injuries. For example when one suffers a spinal cord injury, they get paralyzed which calls for the purchase of special equipment. In some cases paralysis may lead to loss of a job. When one loses a job, they become emotionally affected and thus their social life is also greatly affected.

Spinal cord injuries are of different levels and seriousness depending on the site of injury. The vertebrae that make up the spinal column are grouped into sections. Since spinal injuries affect body functions below the site of injury, the higher the sight of injury, the more severe the dysfunction that results.

Spinal cord injury cure has been the focus of science for so long. New strategies are being developed and old strategies are being revised to make them better and improve their efficacy.

Regenerative strategies

The last two decades have witnessed tremendous efforts in attempt to enhance regeneration of spinal cord axon though many techniques. These techniques include neutralization of neurite inhibition, synthetic channel implantation, various cell transplantation and administration of neurotrophic factors. Some of these strategies have been applied to animal models and they have been so promising to the extent that their potential human application is being explored by clinicians. The main factor limiting recovery from a spinal cord injury has been attributed to the failure of the central nervous system to regenerate. All these strategies aim at making it possible for the axons in the central nervous system to regenerate. Expectations become high with the identification of growth inhibitory molecules in the central nervous system. It was thought that neutralizing these factors would allow for functional axonal regeneration in the central nervous system. But as happens to most seemingly bright researches, the dark side finally showed in this. There exist mixed results of therapeutic approaches that were based on this assumption. Neurons are suggested to differ in their regenerative abilities through similar extracellular environments by recent data. These neurons have also been shown by recent data to undergo a developmental loss of intrinsic regenerative ability. Intrinsic regenerative abilities are mediated by factors that include expression of:

  • Cytoskeletal proteins mediating the axon growth mechanics
  • Receptors for inhibitory molecules
  • Molecules in the intracellular signaling cascades mediating response to chemoattractive and chemorepulsive cues.
  • Surface molecules permitting adhesion of axon to cells in the growth path

Sharply contrasting to axon development, its regeneration involves internal protrusive forces. Micro tubules generate these forces either by transporting other skeletal elements like neurofilaments to the tip of the axon or through their own elongation. It is the complexity of the regeneration program that casts a dark shadow on the progress.

Multi- cell therapy

Spinal cord injuryTransplantation of cells replaces the damaged neural tissues and restores function after spinal cord injury. Successful results have been obtained with different cell types including adult neural stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, fetal tissue, embryonic stem cells and myelin producing cells.

In transplants of fetal tissue combined with neurotrophic factors, axonal growth has been seen. Transplanting polymer guiding channels with Schwann’s cells also helps in achieving novel axonal growth towards a cell transplant.

It is important to note that enough immune suppression is needed lest the cell transplant will be rejected. Attention is currently focused on mesenchymal stem cells to try and circumvent this immunological rejection of transplanted cells. After transplantation, they differentiate into desired cells.

Even though multiple studies have shown success of these multi-cell strategies, it is still not clearly understood what mechanisms lead to functional improvement following transplant.

Adrenal Fatigue and Fibromyalgia

Relating Adrenal Fatigue and Fibromyalgia

Adrenal fatigueThe adrenal glands play very crucial lives in our bodies. These glands are responsible for four major hormones; Adrenaline, Cortisol, DHEA-S, Aldosterone and Androgen. These hormones are charged with specific roles in our bodies. Both Adrenaline and Cortisol are your “flight or fight” hormones and are produced in response to stress. In particular, cortisol provides a short-term increase in blood sugar and blood pressure. By increasing the blood sugar and pressure it can be seen that the body will be empowered as it shall have enough energy to respond to any environmental stress. . When these stresses extend for a longer period of time, the Adrenal gland continues to pump out Adrenaline and Cortisol in response which will result in adrenal fatigue.

Signs and symptoms of adrenal fatigue

What is fibromyalgia?

Just like adrenal fatigue, fibromyalgia has been linked to exposure to stress. This disease is characterized by widespread muscle pain, joint stiffness, and fatigue. The condition is chronic but pain comes and goes and moves about the body. The cause of this disorder is unknown and therefore it is often misdiagnosed or unrecognized and is most of the times complicated by anxiety and mood disorders. The cause of fibromyalgia has been attributed to stress but again there is no research that has been done to prove that stress is the cause of fibromyalgia. The disease causes deep muscle pain but its cause is still unknown. Those suffering from fibromyalgia will suffer from lack of energy and will feel exhausted most of the time.

Typically, when a person is exposed to stress, the level of cortisol will be elevated so highly that its production will be maimed as the adrenal glands fatigue, and eventually become exhausted. When a person is exposed to high stress level there will be a decrease in DHEA levels with a rise in cortisol. The decrease in DHEA and rise in cortisol level will result in an increased ratio of cortisol to DHEA. As with most hormonal systems, there is a negative feedback loop that limits the production of each hormone once it hits its target level. The same occurs in the case of cortisol.

In case of prolonged stress when there is a feeling that the body is at risk and has to act in order to survive, the cortisol output will actually diminish the feedback response. This action is ultra what is expected in that instead of the feedback loop shutting down cortisol production when the levels get high, the body reacts by increasing its level even more. But since cortisol is the body’s primary anti-stress hormone, it will interpret a very high cortisol level as impending and life-threatening danger. In this situation, there is actually a blunting effect on the feedback loop allowing it to spin increasingly out of control. More cortisol will therefore be produced even though your body becomes increasingly resistant to its release. This is the way the body reacts in order to survive during high level of stress it is exposed to. However when this continues for quite a long time then the adrenal glands will become fatigued resulting to plethora of diseases

Are adrenal fatigue and fibromyalgia related?

To begin with these are diseases that until now are little understood. The researchers that have worked on either of the diseases have linked their cause to exposure to high stress levels. However this theory is yet to be proved. there is still little literature in this area of medicine and hope can only be held that in the near future researchers will come up with real causes of these two disorders or better yet come up with good explanations that these two disorders are caused by exposure to high stress levels as have been speculated. It’s only prudent to work with the basis that researchers have availed and by this said I mean that when accept the theory that these two disorders are caused by exposure to high stress then the link between the two is rather easy to find. the major reasons of the adrenal glands is to release hormones that are used in fighting stress therefore when your glands are not able to do that you become more prone to stress and therefore fibromyalgia. There have been theories that adrenal fatigue can cause fibromyalgia but such theories are baseless as these two diseases are seemingly caused by one factor; prolonged stress. However these two diseases share a common symptom which is fatigue. A person who is suffering from any of the diseases will most of the time be worn out.

Can adrenal fatigue and fibromyalgia be treated?

Adrenal fatigueWhen it comes to treatment of these diseases, they seem to diverge. As opposed to adrenal fatigue, fibromyalgia is a complex disease that has no cure. There are some medicines that can be used to help you mitigate on the debilitating effects of the disease. As for adrenal fatigue there are many ways that it can be combated. There is a lifestyle change that when adopted then the condition can be healed and the adrenal gland be restored. Better diet that is free from gluten, sleeping well for at least seven hours a night and limiting caffeine and lots of exercises can help in treatment of adrenal fatigue.

The normal stress of everyday life affects people differently. Adrenal fatigue and fibromyalgia are two common diseases that occur when stressors overwhelm your ability to fight them off. Professional Treatment solution for Adult Acne Breakouts: Why Adult Acne Happens

There are various reasons why people may get acne that prolong into adulthood. Some of the reasons may include the following:

This behavior is very common in the age bracket of 30-40. The funny thing about acne is that in some people it on and off while in others it may be continuous, in brief there’s no uniform description of how it affects. Nevertheless Acne is essentially the result of three things going on within your skin namely:

  • Oil glands producing too much oil
  • Acne-related bacteria within hair follicles (where the oils are released) and both of those clumping with dead skin cells to block your follicles
  • Pustules and cysts signal that there’s inflammation.

In the process of my practice, I often come across clients who think of acne as an infection and not as an inflammation. This school of thought is not healthy and would usually lead to rubbing too hard, hoping to fix the problem.

Professional Treatment solution for Adult Acne Breakouts: Getting Grown up Treatment

For those who may have an occasional pimple and aren’t concerned about it, using over the counter (OTC) products, like a cleanser and a treatment gel with ingredients such as salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide, may be enough. However when this doesn’t help then you may need to consider seeing an expert for further direction. It is advisable that you do not self-medicate the problem. This may even add to your frustration causing you to spend a lot of money that’s not necessary. The reason why you must see your health care provider (dermatologist) is because they will be able to establish the kind of acne you have, this way the right treatment will be provided. Remember that blackheads and whiteheads are treated differently and in a more simple way than the pustules and cysts that can lead to permanent scarring. Besides that you’ll also be able to understand what medications do and also get an explanation of how to use them.

Professional Treatment solution for Adult Acne Breakouts: Steps to Solve Adult Acne

Gentle cleansing – Harsh scrubbing has no effect on the underlying problems like overactive oil glands. In fact, it can aggravate your complexion further. On the other hand if you overdo it, you run the risk of drying your skin and making inflammation worse. In keeping with this hands-off approach, resist squeezing any blemishes. It’s easy to introduce bacteria from under your fingernails and create even more inflammation.

Use targeted topical – While every patient is different, an acne treatment plan that includes a benzoyl peroxide wash for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and two topical, an antibiotic like clindamycin and a retinoid gel or cream (Retin A, Differin, or Tazorac). These prescription retinoid, or vitamin A, formulas are designed to unclog pores, releasing trapped oils, and encourage cell turnover. Another topical ingredient that may help unclog pores is salicylic acid. It’s even an ingredient in some makeup products, so you can get skin care and coverage together. Look for formulas that also have sun protection built in: The more you exfoliate the more sensitive the new skin is to sun exposure.

Oral medications are another option – Oral antibiotics for example, may be prescribed along with a topical medication like Retin A; each drug enhances the effects of the other. Be sure to ask about side effects. Doxycycline, for instance, can cause stomach upset if taken on an empty stomach and can make you sun sensitive.

Oral isotretinoin, the pill version of vitamin A, is prescribed for severe cases of acne. It works extremely well, but because it causes birth defects, you must be on two forms of birth control to take it. It may be prescribed at a low dose for intervals of a certain number of weeks to keep acne under control.

Birth control pills may be effective when hormones play a role in your acne. Signs include irregular menstruation and acne along the jawline.

Professional Treatment solution for Adult Acne Breakouts: Patience the Missing Ingredient

You must be ready to wait a little longer because treatment may take up to six weeks to see if an acne therapy really works for you. During this period, you are likely to try more than one to get the results you want. The good news is that when you are working with an expert like doctor Akoury, you will not only have a partner who can monitor your skin and help you get and keep breakouts under control but also a medical doctor who will be able to offer professional treatment solution for adult acne by all standards.
